Complete the PQA Medication Use Quality Certificate Before August 26

PQA is committed to providing health care professionals and students with accessible, high-quality education opportunities that strengthen knowledge and improve patient care. One of PQA’s education offerings is the Medication Use Quality Certificate (MUQC), a comprehensive program designed to build foundational knowledge in medication use quality and quality measurement.

Earn the Current Medication Use Quality Certificate Before It Expires

The current MUQC program will expire on August 26, 2026.

The 15-hour (15 CEU) certificate program is designed for professionals working in quality improvement, medication management services and health care measurement. Through self-paced learning and live discussion, participants gain practical knowledge of medication use quality concepts, quality measures and their application to improving patient outcomes.

Health care professionals who wish to earn the current Medication Use Quality certificate should enroll and complete all program requirements before the August 26 deadline.

Important Deadlines for Current Participants

Individuals currently enrolled in the MUQC program must complete all required components by August 26, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, to earn continuing education credit. Requirements including:

  • Complete all self-paced lecture modules.
  • Participate in the required live webinar discussion. The final session will be held on August 26, 2026.
  • Pass the final exam and complete the course evaluation.

Continuing education credit will be awarded only after successful completion of all required components. Partial completion or incomplete coursework is not eligible for CE credit.

Looking Ahead to 2027

PQA will release updated on-demand educational offerings in 2027. Existing content will be updated and integrated into PQA’s new website.

The expanded catalog will allow users to customize their learning experience based on professional interests, experience level and learning goals. Through the MyPQA portal, learners will be able to track progress while choosing from foundational courses and elective offerings, giving professionals greater flexibility in building their medication use quality knowledge.
