PQA issued an eight-point call to action for improving the quality and measurement of medication therapy management services. The call was developed with extensive stakeholder input as part of PQA's national, multi-phase initiative to identify a pathway for new quality measures.

PQA completed two proof-of-concept pilots that implemented two blood pressure and two hemoglobin A1C pharmacy measure concepts in value-based payment arrangements between payers and pharmacies.
