This December 7, 2023, PQA Quality Forum Webinar showcased the 2023 PQA Trend Report in Pharmacy Quality.
Pharmacy Quality Solutions (PQS) began creating the Trend Report in 2019 as a publication for consumers, pharmacies, and health plans to understand healthcare trends directly impacting pharmacies. The 2023 report examines the impact of socio-demographic and utilization factors on medication adherence measure rates for Cholesterol, Diabetes, and Renin Angiotensin System Antagonists (RASA) Proportion of Days Covered (PDC) measures. The report includes insights on how adherence may be affected by factors such as low-income subsidy (LIS) status, drug switches within a measurement year, and utilization mail service for extended fills. MS, Director, Analytics and Program Development, discussed the key findings of the report and provide supportive context for its data insights. PQA Director of Education Amanda Ryan hosted the forum and moderate a question-and-answer session with the audience at the end of the webinar.
