The report results were based on consumer, pharmacy, and payer surveys related to medication-related healthcare quality performance and perceptions on pharmacist-provided services. Pharmacy Quality Solutions (PQS) began creating the Trend Report in 2019 as a publication for consumers, pharmacies, and health plans to understand healthcare trends directly impacting pharmacies. The 2022 report builds on the foundation of the 2019 and 2020 reports, surveying consumers, pharmacies, and payers to describe and assess perspectives on medication quality and efforts towards quality improvement.
